Hey, all! I'm Brittani and I'm a full time photographer, wife and mom to two boys. I'm an avid crafter and love to create anything and everything! It all started in my mom's craft room as a kid. She would be working on her crafts for her shop and I would be doing anything from painting a block of wood to gluing together scraps to make my own "crafts" or even making my own Barbie clothes. I've always loved to draw, color and paint whenever I could! So much so, that I begged my high school art teacher to let me take four years of art when the school only offered three. I didn't get credit for the class, but at least I was in there doing what I loved!

So, when it came time to pick a college major, guess what I chose... art, right? WRONG! I chose finance. What?! Needless to say, that didn't last long. I spent one semester as a finance major before I finally came to my senses and switched to K-12 Art Education. During my college career, I decided to take up photography as a side job because how cool is it to be able to live my passion to create art and help pay the bills, too?!

After graduating with my degree, I taught art for three years at a small K-12 school in rural Nebraska. It was the best being able to create artwork and share my love for it with my students! During my third year, my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our son after almost two years of trying and a thankfully successful round of IVF. The more I thought about it, the more I really wanted to be home to raise our baby boy. I was still doing photography part time and decided to take the leap into taking it full time. It's been a crazy ride, but one that I wouldn't change for the world! I love being able to stay home with my two boys and still live my passion for art! I serve the central Florida area with a newborn studio located in Lake Wales.

Experience. I have over 12 years in the photography business, with 7 of those years being full time. I have photographed many babies, mamas and families in that time. I have worked with all kinds of families with all kinds of different dynamics. I have worked with babies with special physical needs, families with twins and triplets and many other different experiences. Does baby have a shy sibling? I used to be an art teacher for a k-12 school, so working with children is my specialty. I will have older brother or sister out of their shell and smiling for the camera in no time.

Consistency. When you make an investment like this you want to know that you will get the results you expect. With me, you can ensure that you will get beautiful photos every time. You will see that my portfolio is consistent in editing and posing newborns. I know exactly where to position the light, the strength to make the light and how to get babies into those cute squishy poses that we love so much, while also taking photos at the right angle.

Quality. Photography has become a very saturated market. There are photographers everywhere. Photographers that will not charge a lot, but will also not be able to deliver the kind of quality, expertise and experience that your family deserves. With me, your photos and artwork will be of the highest quality. I will hand-edit every photo to keep the skin texture and qualities while taking away unwanted blemishes. Colors will stay true, while adding a touch of bold to really draw in attention.

Safety. When you have just welcomed a precious new life into the world, your first priority is their safety. Rest assured knowing that I will be nothing but careful and safe in posing your sweet new baby. I have taken classes in safely posing a newborn. I also place a high priority on cleanliness. Areas that the baby touches are wiped down and wraps and outfits are laundered after every use.

We will go over exactly what you would like your session to look like, what vibe or feel you are going for and what we can do to make those dreams a reality.

Client Closet. To help keep your planning stress to a minimum, I have a client closet available for use for all sessions. I offer clothing for mom and the kiddos, and am always here to help in making suggestions for dad. My client closet is always growing and items are always being added.

Passion. When I am photographing a precious new baby or glowing new mama, I know that I am right where I belong. I absolutely love getting to work with all of the amazing families and am so honored to be trusted to work with their special new addition. I cannot imagine doing anything else with my life than being their for some of the best times in my clients’ lives.
